Foot Burn Causes

I’ve learned that burning of foot may be caused by several reasons and factors. I remember what my uncle told me when he was complaining about his foot burn. He said that every time he felt his foot burn pain, it felt like walking on a burning coal. The burn ached too much which caused his unstable mood every day. I couldn’t think of a day that he was not in a bad temper. He was consistent in complaining about his foot.

There are major and minor conditions of foot burn. In my uncle’s case, he suffered from foot burn because of his disease which is diabetes. Some factors that may cause foot burn neuropathy can be because of a whole day’s work especially when the job requires a bare foot. Also, perspiring and hot foot can cause a feeling of a burning foot. There are other types of neuropathy which feels like burning foot. These can be a result of too much intake of alcohol, deficiency in vitamins especially in vitamin B, and heavy metal poisoning.

In addition, there are imbalances and disorders in our body that contributes to getting foot burn or neuropathy. These can be disorders in blood circulation like thrombocytopenia and pernicious anemia. Erythromelalgia, a circulatory disorder is also a factor to consider. Fungal infections or Morton’s neuroma are also causes of burning foot sensation.

These foot burns can be treated and can be prevented.
